Our fleet consists of over 320 trucks, which include side tipper interlinks, and tankers, directly under the control of Izusa Carriers, offering national and cross-border services. In each case, our service is customised and tailored to suit the unique delivery requirements of each customer. Izusa Carriers is RMTS accredited and Eben is currently expanding his fleet to include PBS trucks. This is defiantly the future of the trucking industry, enabling you to transport more volumes at once.
The business is in a growing phase that will continue over the next few years, depending on new contracts and other envisioned long-term goals. Despite being a fairly small operator in comparison to other larger market related companies, we have established good inter customer relations.
To ensure a reliable service, our fleet has a replacement cycle of 36 months or 600 000km in respect of long haul transport.
The side tipper trailers are replaced after 60 months dependent on their condition and damage to the chassis and resultant refurbishing and maintenance costs.
Our focus is on the transport of commodities better suited to cross border product delivery, not losing sight of the variety of customers in need of the road transport industry.
Rail road service levels remain challenging for most users and potential users. This continues to create optimal opportunities for the transport industry. Izusa Carriers is currently investing in a siding that will impacted both the tollgate congestion and road transport. This is the beginning stages of the project but Izusa Carriers aims to have this operation up and running in the very near future.
Being a local company with easy access to all of the main transport routes, circumstances are favourable, allowing us expansion with minimal logistical disruption. With a strategically located service centre in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga, our success is built on a foundation of quality service and lasting inter customer relationships.
